New Soul Planet Channel Chat Facebook Group
Announcement: I wanted to let you know that I created a new Facebook Group this morning called Soul Planet Channel Chat. You can find it either by searching in Facebook for that name or clicking on this link: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1035531900752129
I wanted to take a few minutes to explain why I decided to create this group. While the Substack Podcast and Newsletter format gives me a way to provide you with access to my posts and audio recordings, as well as giving you a chance to subscribe to my channel, I have found that it doesn’t seem to encourage direct communication. This means that while I trust you are all receiving my posts—giving you the opportunity to read these posts either in your email or online and to listen to my recorded podcasts—I can never get any clear sense of your reaction to my stories and messages beyond what the Substack statistics (and my occasional telepathic connections) provide.
The communication remains a little too one-sided for my comfort. I don’t want to be a single voice uttering incantations to myself in the wilderness (although much of my inspiration actually comes from my experiences in the wilderness). If Facebook isn’t your thing, please feel free to email me with any responses to gabriel@sacredsitesproject.com.
And given that my goal, as I say in my Substack statement, is “to contribute to the expanding chorus of voices channeling our collective consciousness into one grand complexly-harmonious symphony,” I have been wanting to find a way that we can actually create that grand complexly-harmonious symphony together. So consider this an invitation to join me in that conversation in the Facebook group. What questions do my essay-letters raise for you? What related resources spring to your mind as you read and/or hear my podcasts? How does this material fit into your own experiences and understandings? What next steps might you suggest in this collective Planetary Soul Journey?
Beyond that, I also often find myself wishing I could add extra links and notes and resources to follow up on the topics and themes I discuss in my podcast. If I were to do this through the Substack medium, I would quickly fill up your email inboxes, which might not spark joy in all of you. But I can do so in this Facebook group—and you can do so as well.
So please feel free to keep these conversations going beyond my emails to you.
On a side note, I thought I should mention that while you initially get these Soul Planet posts in your email, your email also gives you the link to the online version of my posts. I often add new photos and links in the online version that I left out of the email—again to cut down on clutter in your mail boxes. So please check out the online versions as you can.
I am also considering creating YouTube video versions of some of my posts. I know that YouTube is my primary source of news and information these days, so it feels like a natural next step for me, and perhaps for you as well. I’ll keep you posted!
Anyway, feel free to keep things as they previously have been in the email connections we have established—and which will remain as the initial points of contact—and, if you feel moved to do so, please join in on the conversation in my new Facebook Group. In any case, thanks for coming along for the ride!
Peace and grooviness,
Gabriel
